STOCK REPORT.
At the Addinglon yards, on Wednesday 4285 sheep, 286 head of cattle, and 220 pigs were penned for the week's supply. There was a good attendance of buyers, and the biddings were more animated than has been the case for some time past. Sheep .—A good supply of prime and good eross-breds came to hand, for which be6t pens realised 17s 3d ; good ditto. 15s; medium from 12s 9d to 13s 6d ; prime merinos from 12s dd to 13s 3d We quote 2i|d to 2d per lb as an average for mutton. Only a few pens of stores came forward A line of shorn hoggets brought 8s Gd oach. Cattle.—There was a large supply of fat entile, some of the lots consisting of excellent quality sorts, and for these tho biddings were brisk, the various lots offered changing hands at prices satisfactory to owners. We quote 25s per 1001 b for beef. Several lines of stores were offered, but only a few small lots found buyers. Goodconditioned three-year-old steers realised £4 15s ; calves from 3ls to 35s oach. 1
