There wns a Vf, ry large nttendancp o P the trade at Atrlinuftoti on Wed -les'lay when 8048 sheep, 207 head of catt'e, and' 154 pigs were penned for the week's supply. Sheep.—The supply of gond cross-breds was very great, there being a larger quantity of fat sheep th«m for pome months past. Prime cross-bred wethers sold from 16s 6d to 18a 6d each ; good ditto, from 13a 6d to 15s. Prime merinos realised Its 3d ; good ditto, 9s to 9s 6d. We quote 2£d per Ib as nn average tor mntton Or.ly a small number of stores ctiine forward, and these changed hands at prices ful'y equal to late rates. Cattle.—A very limited number nf fat cattle wero yarded, and as thw quality of these was very indifferent, they were dull of sale. Best lots made an average of 21s per 1001b, while the hulk of the medium and second quality lots wero turned out unsold. A few pens of stores were: offered, but owing to the scarcity of buyers the bulk were not sold. Pigs.—A large fupply of pigs was offered, small lots mnking 17s each, prime and large sorts up to £4 each.
