STOCK REPORT.
At (be Addington yards on Wednesday there was a laige attendance of the trade. 7116 sheep, 2SG head of cattle and 328 pigs were penned for the week's supply. Sheep.—The supply of fat sheep was again very large, hut prices were not equal to last week's rates. Prime nross-breds realised 18s ; good ditto, from 14s to IGs. We quote 2§d per lb as an average for mutton. Several drafts of prime hoggets changed hands at from 8s Id to lis 3d. Cattle. —Only a small fupply of fat cattle was yarded, but as the bulk of those to hand consisted of good and prime lots, the biddings were slightly keener than at Inst week's sale. Prime bullocks realised from ±.9 10s to £10 15s ; medium and light weights, from £G to £7 2a Gd. We quote 23s per 1001b as an average for beef. Only a few pens of stores came forward, and for these there was but slight enquiery, consequently the bulk were turned out unsold.
