LONDON SEED MARKET.
Messrs John Shaw & Sons, of 37, Mark lane, London, report, through their agent, Mr Leonard W. Blake, ot Cliii.-ittiiun.il, that for the month ending April 2lst y brisk demand existed for all descriptions of farm seeds. Of clovers the arrivals continued email, and stocks being light,
very little will probably be left over at the end of the season. There was not much alteration in prices, red and while being perhaps a. trifle lower. From cubic odvices received from America, It appeared that quotations for red seed ruled there several shillings per cwt. higher than those current in London. There was a heavy demand for both Italian and perennial rye grasses, at advanced rates, with the supply getting short. Canary still neglected. Hemp seed cheaper.
