CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is tho report for the week ending , Friday, June 3: — .Potatoes—l lie market exhibits a rather firmer tone, and Inst week's prices are well liiaint'iiued. There however, no improvement in prices, 30s to 32s 01 at country stations being the prices at which transactions have taken place, sacks extra. Grass Seed—Very litt'c is being done at present. Prices continue to rule lii»h. Well cleaned farmers' parcels are saleable at from 4s u'd to 5s per bushel. Badly cleaned, according to sample. Cocksfoot lias not been much enquired for during the week, but prices are linn at 3d to 3£d per lb. Cliceso and Butter—The former is still heavy of sale at last week's quotations— viz., 3d to 3£d. The latter is brisk of sale at 8d to B|d. Hams and bacon, 7d to 7|d f.o.b. Hay—£2losto £2 15s pei ton, delivered in Cbristchiirch.
