GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

There has been little alteration in the grain market .since last weok, and buisness continues very quiet. Lite ICnglish advices, we are glad to say, report satisfactory prices having been mdised for some of the earlier shipments of 1 lie present season, more particularly of the Tuscan sorts. Wheat.—Values for all kinds remain at last week's rales. Milliter's White commands 3s Gil to lis G£d, and OUI r kinds range from 3s 7d ti> ;U 9d. Fnr very fine lots a shade over these prices can be obtained. Oats.—The prices riding last week are fully inaintaiiifd for all qualities. Feed samples are saleable at Is 8d to Is 10d,and milling at 2s to 2s Id. Fur most kinds there has Intely been a slightly improved outside enquiry. Bar'py.—There is next to nothing doing in this grain, and sales are dillioiilt to make Quotations arc stated at 2s 3d to 2s Gd fo. good mailing, and up to 3s 3d for hestr Feed descriptions have lately been asked, for. Prices rule at Is Gd to 2s. Potatoes, alter drooping below quoted rates, have shown a livelier- tone during llm Inst few days, nnd prices ha\c come, hack to the old rate. 3Us to 32s Gd is now cv iien t. Grass Seed.—Beyond the disposal of a few odd lots, little has been done in ry grass. Buyers are indifferent at piesenn values, nnd on'y operate for positivf orders. Ordinary samples are worth 4" and machine-dressed seed 4s Gd to ss. a Dairy Produce. — Cheese, 3d to 3£d ; butter, 7d to 8d ; hums and bacon of tbe new cure will soon be in the market.
