CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from the report fur the wcik ending Friday A| ril 29:— Grass Seed.—The demand has certainly abated, but prices are in no way affected. Holders are firm in their demands, and it is anticipated that prices will rule yet higher. Well cleaned farmers' parcels are saleable at from 4s G I to 5s per bushel indifferently cleaned vary so much thai . each parcel has its distinctive value.
Potatoes.—The market during the week bfls been decidedly weaker, and sales bave taken place at quite 2s Gd under the previous week. Prices may be quoted a from 32s Gil to 35-) per ton at country stations within a radius of from seven to eight miles of Christchurch, 30s to 37s Gil per ton delivered In Christchurch. Cheeso and ISutter.—The tone of the market has not altered during the week, and the quotations are tho same—'3d to for the former, 7 1 to 7b\ for the latter. Hay.—£2 15sJ per ton delivered in Christchtircl.
