STOCK REPORT.
There was a good attendance of the trado f.t the Addington Yards on Wednesday, the stock yarded comprising 36G-* sheep. 389 head of cattle, and 235 pigs. Sheep.—On account of tho very scanty supply of fat sheep, the biddings were brisk, and the various lots changed hands fully two shillings per head in advance of last week's prices. The stock to hand were principally good and medium quality eross-breds. Best lots realised IG-i each ; good do, from 10s 3d to 14s ; merinos, from 9s Gd to 12s 9d. We quote mutton at 2jd per lb. There were no store sheep ot any consequence brought forward. Cattle. —Tiio supply of fat cattle consisted of prime and second quality lots. Prime sorts met with a ready -sale, while second quality pens were dull of sale. We quote beef at 20s pier 1001b. A fair lot of yoimir stores came forward, but there was very little enquiry for this description. (J ivis realised from 25s to 295; eighteen mouths o'd sold at £2 17a Gd ; two-year-od.s (mixed sexes) at £4 7s Gd. Pig.?.—A large supply came to hand ; prime lots sold at 50s each ; sin ill ditto at 17s,
