Gmss Seed.—The deniMiid is not so brisk as in tbe preceding weeks, and parcels coining to baud are not so engerly sought after. Holders, however, h ye in no wny abated their demands. Well-denned farmers' parcels are still saleable at from 3s Gd to 4s Cnl per bushel ; iiniilVurently cleaned, according to sample.
Potatoes.—Growers appear disinclined to do imsineN tit the money offered, while buyers nre-equally opposed to make any mntetinl advance. Sales have taken phiee at from 3f>s to 3(h at country stations within n radius of from seven to eight miles of Christehtirch,4os per ton has been given where the potatoes h-ive to be pitted and delivery taken when required. Chee.«e ai:d butter. —There is no alteration in values during the week. The former is in plentiful supply at from 3d to 3{d ; the latter is free u£ sale at from 7d to IMI
