CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from tbe report for the week ending Friday April 1.
Grass Seed.—The demand for this article of produce has in no way abated ; well-clenned farmers' parcels meet with ready sale at from 3s Gd to 4s p-r bushel, indifferently cleaned according to sample.
Potatoes arc beginning to be inquired for, a few insignificant sales have taken pUce during the past week at from 33s to 35s per ton at country stations within a radius of s-ven t> eight miles from Christchun h. Sacks extra. Accounts from nearly all the potato growers report crops .short.
Cheese a. d Butter.—There is no change to report in the state of the market for this article of produce, 3d to 3£d for the former, G£d to 7d for the latter. Hay £2 10s per ton.
