STOCK REPORT.
A good attendance of tho trade mustered at the Addington Yards on Wednesday, when 7784 sheep, 5G7 head of cattle, and 180 pigs were yarded. There was, however, a dragging sale of both fat and store stock.
Sheep.—Prime cross-breds sold at 12s ; good do, from 9s 9d to 10s 6d. Merinos, prime and. good, brought 7s 3d, fair quality 6s Gd. Prime fat lambs realised 8s 3d; others from 5s 9d to 7s. We quote mutton at l£d per lb. A good supply of stores (cross-bred ewes) 4 and titooth sold from 7s to 7s Gd. Merinos, full-mouthed mixed seies were dull of aale, several lots being turned out unsold. Cattle. —There was a full market of fat sorts, but the bidding was dull. Prime beef averaged 16s per lOOlba. A large supply of stores were to hand. Many lots were turned out unsold and others realised .prices a shade below late prices. pjir 9> —Principally stores wt;re yarded, •which realised from 12s to 325.
