•an of lute. Quotations were as under, v<7..: —Butchers'best cross-bred pelts, 2b 4 1 to 2s lid each ; second quality, Iβ 9d u> 2h 3d each; medium, Is 3<i to 1« 8d > null. Butchers' best merinos, Is 3d to Is Sd. and one good line at 2s 2d each; second quality, 9d to Is 2d; inferior merinos and cross-bredu, dry and badly saved, 3d to 7d each. Best lamba made 2s to 2a iOd each. Best dry fat, 2|d to >!|d per Id ; second quality, l£d to 'Id per .;>; inferior, !fd to ljd per lb. Salted liiles, 4d ; damaged hides, 2£d per lb. C itfskine, 4d per lb. Tallow, in casks, to 2,<Jn 6d per cwt; do, in bags and packages, 2d to 2|d per lb. Wool, in bales, 6£d to 7sd per lb ; do, in bags. 6£d to 7$U per ■>; pieces, 4£d to s£d per lb j locks, $d to 1 Jd per lb.
