LITTLE RIVER.

The annual meeting of householders for the election of a Sdhodl Committee was held in the schoolroom on the 24th inst. Mr W. Coop was elected to the chair.

The Chairman read the report. (We havo not space for its insertion in this issue, and must hold it over till our next.) The statement of accounts was read and adopted, and a vote of thanks was accorded io the outgoing committee. ' The meeting then proceeded to the elec tion of a Committee for the ensuing year, when-the following wore elected : Messrs Tyson, W. Coop, Olphcrt, G. W. JoblinW. Greenland, Wt.l era, and Reynolds. A vole of thanks to the chair terminated the (proceedings. A meeting of the Committee took place afterwards, when Mr Coop was unani, '■ inously elected Chairman.
