In the Legislative Assembly last night the Estimates were again dealt with On the education vote being proposed, Sir J O'Shannessy attacked the education system and opposed the passage of tho vote Mr Murray Smith also spoke on the question, and favored the appointment of a Royal Commission, to enquire into means for the redress of the frievances of Roman Catholics under the present system of education. It is announced that the sprv'ces of Col Scratchley are to be retain, d for another year Brisbane, Dec. 9. The leader of the Opposition party proceeds immediately, to England, it is understood, with a political object in view in connection with accusations lately made against the Hon Thomas Mcllwraith, Premier
