The northern districts of Croatia, which last month suffered from earthquakes, has again been visited by a shock causing further damage to Agrarn audits surroundings The panic which previously prevailed has been renewed with increasing intonßity. The greatest consternation exists, and the gravest fears are entertained that further shocks of earthquakes may have worse effects than any yet experienced. Calcutta, Dec. 8. The Viceroy, the Marquis of Ripon, who had recovered front 'fever which recently attacked him at Allahabad in the N r::h-We t Provinces, is n< TT detained at that town by a serious sunstroke which he has received. His Excellency is completely prostrated, but his medical attendants give hopes of his early recovery.
