GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

Transactions in tho grain market during the week have been exceedingly limited, and the feeling in almost every department is one of extreme quietness, The weather lately has been extremely hot, and in some districts a fall of rain would be acceptable. Wheat.—Best milling is quoted at 4b 3d to 4s sd, and extra quality a trifle higher. Inferior parcels have been moved at 3a 3d to 3s 10d. Chick, Iβ 6d to 2s 6d according to sample. Oats.—Bebt milling stand at Is 6d to Is Bd, and for feed, Is 3d to Iβ 5d represent the quotation.

Barley is quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 6d foi the best parcels, and lower grades in small lots have been sold at 2s 6d to 2a 10d. Feed lots are quiet.

Flour.—A fair business has transpired at the price, £10 10s to £11.

Rye-Grass.—Cutting in some parts has 'Commenced, but the season is too early for the bulk. No forward sales of tho new season's seed have come under notice. There have been a few trifling enquiries for small lots for shipment, but nothing of any moment has taken place.

Dairy Produce.—Butter, s£d to s|d; cheese, 4d to 4£d.
