"VTpTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, _I_N in terms of Section 40 of " The Rating Act, 1876," that the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, at the meeting to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 24th day of November instant, intend to make a rate of Ninepence in the £ on all rateable property in the said Road District for the period ending the 31st day of March, ISBI, and that the said Rate will become payable on the Ist day of January, 1881, in one instalment, at the Office of the said Board : And further, that the Rate Book is now open for inspection, as required by the said Act, at the Office of the Road Board, Duvauchelle's Bay.
