Latest intclligeuce from Basutoland reports continuous fighting with the •enemy. Cape Oiiies under Colonel Clark have stormed Molethunese stmnsrliolil, Jintl driven tho enemy from their positions. The Basutos, however, in overwhelming numbers, have recaptured Letherodis village, which was recently taken by Carrington. The Co'onials, notwithstanding the ktrciigth of the enemy, retired from the village in -good order. London, Nov. C. The Board of trade returns' of imports for the past month amount to £27,437,500, being a dcrease of ,£3,875,000 compared with last year.
The Exports for the same jeriod .•unmounted to £18,687,500, being an increase of £1,000,000 compared with last year. Large withdrawals of gold from the Bank of England are being made for North America. Constantinoplk. Nov. G. Coumoundouros, the president of the Ministry, is asking Parliament to-day to grant credit for armaments in accordance with the policy announced in the Kings speech at the opening of Parliament. He declared that it would be suicidal for Greece to secede from the position she had taken up in regard to the rectification of her frontier.

Laycock, the Australia a oarsman lieat Kiley in the sculling match for £400 aside. He won easily. The International Regatta commences on Nov. 18. The races will be pulled in four heats, the regatta lasting three days. There are 17 entries for the various events. The Channel Squadron has been ordered to Ireland. The Irish Land League appeals to the people of Ireland to subscribe liberally towards a defence fund for a solicitor to enter an appearance in the Court at Dublin, to demand details of the charges brought against the land leaguers.
