CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from the report for the week ending Friday evening, Oct. 29:—
Grass Seed.-—The demand is falling off. A few orders remain unexecuted. Heavy well-cleaned farmers' parcels are saleable at from 2s 0 i to 2s Oil per bushel ; towndressed. 3s to 3s 3d ; badly dressed light eeed Is 9d to 2s 3d
Potatoea.-x-Thore aye r.o orders in the ;parket, and the demand is almost nil. Any orders coming to linnd could be executed at from 12s Gd to 15a at country stations within a, radius of 7 miles from Christchnrch, sacks extra. Cheeso and Butter—4d to 4£d for the former, 5H to G.I for tho latter.
