The week has been bare of any special character. Business continues quiet, and lma been conlineil chiefly to the tilling of orders The weather Ims been very favorable for the growing crops, nnd the Teports from the various districts are all ■confirmatory on this point. Wheat—Best milling, 4s to 4s 3d, nnd for ehuk'o lots a shade more is obtainable Second class samples are quoted at Bs Gd to3alOJ. Q a ts. —The market is quiet nt is Oci to Is 9d for milling. Several parcels have been sold, but buyers are not over eager. •Good feed lines command Is 4d to Is od and inferior grades Is Id to la 3d. Barley.—Quotations remain unaltered nnd comparatively little lias been done •even in the lines most abundant. Potatoes have in no way changed, and the means of outlet are as unsatisfactory as before. Flour is quiet at £10 to £10 10s. Grass Seed.—Very little has been done in ryegrass, only a few odd lots having been taken up at 2s Gd to 2s 7d for well dressed farmers' parcels. Dairy Produce.—Butt r, to Gd ; cheese, 4d to 4£d ; hams and bacon unaltered.
