The following is from the report for the week ending- Friday evening, Oct. 22 :— The crops in all party of the cQimtry are looking extremely well. , Copious rains have fallen all over the country. Up to ithe present time harvest prospects are exceptioually good. .'•',. ■ Grass Seed—A few small parcels arc etill inovtng off at from 2s 6d to 2s lOd per bushel, the latter figure being really well cleaned heavy, seod. Samples which have been recleaned in town, 3s to 3s 3d per bushel , '; 1 badly dleAned ; light 'seed, Is i)d to 2a 3d per.-busheß ! At' Potatoes —There is no alteration to note in the state of the market. Supplies are alihndurU'.: whilst Mniyers} nrei idvv ; and ])iices low.
