CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.

The following is from the report for the week onding Friday evening, Sept. 24:—

Business during tbe week has been of a most unimportant character. The principal business doing is grain passing into local consumption. Potatotes. —The market for this tuber has experienced a very decided fall. Considerable quantities are offering with but an indifferent demand. Sales have taken place during the week at 10s to 20s per ton, sacks extra. It is difficult to quote the extra value, as the exigences of the case frequently inllu*ne6 the price. Good, heavy, well cleaned samples will f.-tch from 2s 9J to 3-?. Farmers' parcels, badly dressed, vary from l-> 9d to 2s Gd per bushel. _ Cocks-foot.-Good, heavy seed is fetching 2£d
