GRAIN AND PRODUCE,

The grain market el irititf the past week has been quiet, and actual business line been of a restricted nature.

Wheat. —Good milling is saleable at 4r Id to 4s 2<\ n 1 xt a prime 4s -3c , . Lower grades havo beon told at 3s Gd to 3s 10.1. The enquiry for seed Tuscan has greatly abated.

Oatn.—Fair sales of both milling and feed samples are reported. Th* , former at la GJ to Is Bd, the latter at Is -id to Is b\. Inferior quality have been sold at prices varying between Is Id to Is 3d. Barley.—Best quality i.s saleable at 3s to 3s 3d, and fair malting samples find buyers at 2s Gd to 2s 10d. Feed parcels are quoted at Is Gd to Is Oil. Potatoes have not improved, and the demand continues just as sluggis i. Values remain nominally at 20s, but, to quit, a concession.on this price would have to be accepted. Flour is in fair demand at £10 10s to £11, according to brand. Grass Seed.—Considerable parcels of dressed samples of ryegrass have changed hands since our last report, at prices varying between 2s am) 2s 7<l. Machine dressed of extra quality has been sold at a shade over the latter rate. Cocksfoot lias not been selling so readily lately, and prices for this seed are without alteration.
