CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from the report for the w*ek ending Friday evening, the 27th iait.
Potatoes. —During the past week values are lower. The Sydney market has been again liberally supplied from Warnambool and Tasmania. Holders aro now anxious to sell, but exporters, in the absence of a present demand, decline to operate. 20« per ton now is offered, and buyers are scarce.
Grass Seed. —The demand for this article of produce continues fairly good. Well cleaned parcels are being offered at 2s 9d to 3s per bushel. Indifferent to inferior 1* 6d to 2s 6d per bushel.
Cheese and Butter.—The former is now in good supply at from 4d to The latter is in abundant supply, and with the prospects of new being to hand very soon, is almost unsaleable.
Hay.—sos to 55s per ton delivered in town.
