AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD BOARD ADJOURNED MEETING.
To the Editor of the Akaroa Mail. reporter of the above has facts,, if the paragraph is correctly placed before the public, "that Messrs Chappell and McDonald were in attendance, and after waiting till four o'clock adjourned tbe meeting." lam not afraid of being turned out of office, but I do not feel inclined to be one of three to take onus where all were culpable. If I was not in a state of sonnambulism, I am „auite certain I met these gentlemen at Brooks' Hotel, arid also at the sale within the hours the Board should have met, and the adjournment.—l am, etc., HENRY PIPER.
