On. Thursday at our Canterbury Wool 'Stores we (held our usual weekly sale of : he above. There was an average attendance of the trade, and values wero very milar to those of last week. Our Catajgue comprised 2514 sheepskins, 111 bags nigh fat, 102-hides, a few bales and bags •v'ool, and packages tallow; every line ing cleared at, prices as nnder, viz. ; — titehers' beat cross-bred pheop-skins :nde 5a to 5s 7d ; .second quality, 4s to lid; medium, 2s 9d to 3s lid each. ' ifchera' beat merino made 3s 4d, to 4s oh; second quality, -2h 6d to 3s 3d ; >dium and inferior, 2s 3d to Is each, untry skins, bost, 5s to Gs 6d each; aqth from 3s to 3s, lid; pelts lately >m, 2d to Is each. Butchers' best ; igh fat, 2£d to 2fd per lb; second lity, 2d to 2£d ; inferior none on offer, es, 3£d per lb; calMins, 4d. Tallow, to 2;] d per lb ; tallow in caEk, none Wool, greasy, to 8d per lb ; .washed, , er lb.
