STOCK REPORT.
Tho attendance at the Aldington Yards on Wednesday last was of a limited character, and the inclement weatcer prevented some lines from coming forward, consequently there was only a limited supply of stock for sale. Sheep.—The prices obtained were about equal to last week, and we still quote mutton at 2d por lb. There were no lambs in the market. Store merino ewes were again in active demand, and sold readily at 4s 3d to ss, according to quality. Cattle.—Notwithstanding the small entry of cattle, there was a still further reduction in price, the bulk of the beef only realising from 16s to 18s per 1001b. Stores sold rather better than last week. Pigs were again in active demand, and sold freely at rates equal to over 5d per lb.
