The week has been comparatively uneventful, nothing having transpired to materially alter the aspect of the market. Loading in Port has been somewhat retarded by tho wet wpather lately prevailing, and deliveries by rail have suffered from (he same cause. Wheat is selling at 3s 3d to 3s sd, according to quality; but the business transacted has not been of an extensive character. Chick wheat is in fair supply, and has been quitted at 2s 3d to 2s Gd ; nnd for the better class up to 2s 9d and 2s 10d. Oats.—Sales continue to be made on a email scale at Is 2d to Is 3d for good feed, and for milling' quality at Is 4d to Is 4jrd. Australian advices still continue discournpriiig. , Barley.—Sales ore difficult to make, and value? range for good malting from 2s Gd to 3s 3d. Potatoes are being sold at the. old rates of 25b to 27s 6d. The supply coining forward is fully equal to the demand. Flour has been sold freely at £10 to £11 and the mills are all busy. Grass Seed.—Not much can be reported as having been done in rye-grass beyond a few sales for export. Cocksfoot has been offered in-quantity without leading to business, sellers holding for higher Dairy Produce.— Butter, 9d to 9£d ; cheese, 4d to 5d ; honey, 4d to 4£d.
