A Handicap Trotting Match will take place after the races. £1 sweep. Three entries or no race. Entries to mean and include (in case of handicap) nomination and acceptance. Horses walking over for a prize will receive only half the prize. The district shall mean the County of Akaroa. No horse allowed to run unless he is the bona property of a subscriber of one guinea to the race fund. No protest to be entertained unless accompanied by a foe of one guinea, which will be forfeited, if considered frivolous. Nominations to close on May 1, and must be addressed to the Secretary, Little River. Weights to appear on May 8 ; general entry to close: on May 10. The C.J.C. rules strictly adhered to.
