AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Tuesday, April 6. (Before J. Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) Civil Cases. Adams v. Beecher.—Claim £12 15s, for rates paid by plaintiff on the Criterion Hotel. In this case judgment had been reserved. Plaintiff was now non-suited with costs. Ditely v. Pawson.—Claim, £6. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. Roberts v. Drinkwater. —Claim, £12 10s. Judgment by default for amount claimed with costs. Arming v. Stewart.—Claim, £5 lis 4d. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. Black'Vi B. Malmanche.—Claim, £3 lis lid. Judgment by default for amount claimed with costs. The Court then adjourned. Wednesday, Aprk, 7. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS John Nixon was charged with being drunk and disorderly. Defendant pleaded hard to be let off this time, promising reformation. Dismissed with a caution. The Couit then adjourned.
