STOCK REPORTS.
There was r capital attendance at the Addington yards on Wednesday, and the bidding was much brisker than at the previous sale. The stock yarded comprised 9064 sheep, 462 cattle, and 208 pigs. Sheep.—-The competition for good lines of fat sheep was very keen, a rise in price equal to sixpence per head being the result. Stores are still in good demand. Cattle.—The demand for fat cattle was limited, and we may quote beef at from 18s to 20s per 1001b. Stores were exceedingly quiet, there being no buyers in the market. Mild cow., and springers were in improved demand, and prices ranged from £2 to £4 higher than last week. Good Rpringer.s realised from £8 to £12 ; superior £13 10seach.
