Advices from Melbourne and Sydney regarding the rise in the price of oats have not affected values here, large parcels having been offered at 2s 3d to 2s Gd. Bran is plentiful, and offered as low as £3; East Coast maize has arrived and changed hands at 3s 4d to 3s Gd; potatoes are coining to hand freely, and are offered as low as £4 10s to £5.

Wheat, 4a 9d to 5s per bushel ; fowls' wheat, 3s ikl to 4s; oats, Is 'Jd to Is lid ; milling, 2s ; barley, 5.s to 5s Gd ; feed. 3a to 3s Gd ; pocatoes, £G 5s to £G 10s per ton, according to quality; new kidney potatoes, 9s per cwt; new round potatoes, 7s; hay, £4 ; chaff, £4 to £4 5s ; straw, £2 5s ; brim, £Mos ; pollard, £5 ; ilour, sacks, £11 10s to £12; oatmeal, £12 ; pearl barley, £2G ; onions, 25s per cwt; old cheese, 8d per lb ; new cheese, 7d ; bacon, rolled, 'JJ ; prime beef, 25s per 1001 b ; mutton, l|-d to lfd per lb.
