Saturday, Dec. 20. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., 8.M.) CATTLE TRESPASS. G-. E. Joblin, D. Grant, J. Olphert, W. Coop, C. D. Bankin, J. Belcher, and J. Castle were each fined 5s and costs for the above offence. A similar charge against J. Sharrock was dismissed. ILLEGAL RESCUE OF CATTLE. B. Sharrock was charged with illegally rescuing «attle which were being driven to a public pound. Case dismissed. BREACH OF PUBLIC-HOUSE ORDINANCE. ■ John Olphert was charged with a breach of the above ordinance, by supplying beer on a Sunday. Fined 2Gs and costs, Civil Case. Bennell v. Mapua.. Claim £1. No appearance of plaintiff. Case struck out. Bankin v. Hape. Claim £1 Is 6d.
Judgment by default for amount claimed ani costs. The Court then adjourned.
