As a three-year-old he took First Prize at the Tasmanian Pastoral Association's Show, and since that time he has taken First Prize in his class and against all comers, at the Banks Peninsula Pastoral Association's Shows in 1876 and 1877. ECLAT is closely related to Dngworth. The Bnrb, V attention, and Maid of All "Work ; the latter won over £2000 in stakes, and like Eclat, is out of a Premier mare. King Phillip, by Camden, out of a daughter of Shiol-na-Guira, is nearly full brother to Eclat, and won several races in New Zealand : and, lastly, Eclat is closely related to the celebrated horse of the,day—Chester.
