'The week has not brought forth anything out of the usual iun. Business continues exceedingly quiet, and operations paitake .greatly of th« hand to mouth order. ° Wheat— A few sale." to the millers can he rec-Qided at 4s 9d to ss, and any brought forward is readily taken up at these lates. Several parcels of chick wheat have been sold during the week at 3s 6d to 4s 3d, awarding lo quality. Oats—lf anything are more depressed than over, and sales of any quality are hard to effect. For feed we quote 2s to 2s Id ; -milling,- 2s 3d to 2s. -id. Barley—Prices are nominal, there being little or i) 6 business to note.
Potatoes are almost out of growers' '■■hands,-and for the,-few tons-sold, during the last few days j£s 10s to £G has been given. Sales of small seed are also reported at £3 10s. Flour remains at £12 to £13, with a good demand. Grass Seed is unaltered, and samples continue as difficult to sell as over. Prices are nominally 4fe:to 4s 3d. ■; Dairy Produce. —Butter is coming freely to haiifi.now, and prices have further given way—ti to 8d is quoted. > l Ghfeese. ; srH to Gd. Hams and bacon, Oid to lOd.
