GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

Bueiness in the grain market presents; much the same features as in the preceding week. All branches continue exceedingly; •dull, and with little demanding extendednotice. The latest telegraphic advices from Home still inform us of improving rates. Wheat.—Values are without much•change—4s 9d to 4s lid—but actual transactions have not been numerous, owing to the paucity of samples. Oats. —The market for oats is unaltered, and shows little chance of improvement. Holders are glad to effect sales when oppor-, tunity offers, at present prices. Feed, 2s j 2d to 2s 3d ; milling, 2s 6d. Barley.—We have little or no business to note in this grain. Potatoes. —A few lots have been sold during the week at £4 to £4 10s. Deliveries now are nearly completed, and •transactions passing through hand ate comparatively limited. Flour. —The enquiry for this has been maintained, and fair business is reported at late values, viz., £12 to £13' ! Grass Seed.—Rye grass is still quoted | nominally at 4s to 4s 3d. but the demand is without tho slightest life. Sales of any description are hard to make, and buyers' prices must be submitted to Dairy Produce.—Butter is row coming in freely, and prices/have receded. It is quoted at Bid to 9d ; hams and bacon, 3|d to 10d.
