At the Addington yards on Wednesday, 5950 sheep, 406 head of cattle, and 32 pigs were yarded. Sheep.—A large proportion of the £&% phe r ep yarded were shorn, but the cxmipfcfli-' tioh for this description was .not w>"! brisk as at last weekVsale. Some of the breds, in the £ wool, consisted of prime quality lots; and there was also a twticeable drop in prices for" this description. Best croesbreds sold froml4s6dto~lss3d; good ditto, from 11s 6d to 13s ,• light .weights from 9s to 10s 6d ; ditto (shorn) from 10s to 10s 6d • «ec6nd quality, 9e. Prime merino wethers realised: 12s; second quality, 9s to 9s 6d. ... Wβ, qnote,2|d per lb as an average for faisheep ; ditto (shorn), lfd perlb. ■' Cattle.—A large proportion of fat cattle came forward, but, mainly- Qwing , to the jvery large supply of last week's market, there was,a drop,in prices. We quote 27s per lOOlb as an average for best lots, whilst fair to medium quality averaged 255.
