GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
The past, week has beer uneventful and business continues unmarked by any special feature. . . Wheat—There is no change in the value of wheat. The quantity offering is limited; and good samples are readily saleable at 4s Bdto4slod Oats. —Remain in over supply, and prices are unaltered- Nothing outside a few for home use have come under notice. Ratea are-2s 3d to 2s 4d for feed, 2s 6d lor miluGg. : Barley.—A few small sales of barley for ■seed parposee at Sβ 6d to 6s is the only business to be noted in this grain. Feed quality is neglected. Potatoes are in fair demand at late rates, viz., £3 15s to £4. The quantity brought -forward, however, is not great. Flour.—The enquiry for flour has improved, and millers report much better business at £12 to. £13, according to brand.
/ Grass Seed. — Transactions during the week have been confined to fulfilling some small orders. . Prices are unchanged, and the market is quite listless —4sto 4s 3d are the nominal values.
Dairy Produce.— r New butter is not yet over plentifSlf and fetches lid to Is; cheese, Gd to B§d ; hams and bacon, 9d to 9£d.
