FROM TUB LYTTELTON TIMES. Christehurch, Friday GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Business in the grain market during the past week has not shown much life. . Wheat. —For good milling samples, 4s 6d to 4s 8:1 can be obtained. Picked samples of seed wheat have been selling at ss. Oats. —There is nothing new to notice, in oats. Quotations remain about the same as last week, 2a 5d to 2s 7d for feed, 2s 8d for milling. Barley i« without alteration. Any good quality readily finds purchasers at 6s to 6s 3d. . Potatoes are coming forward more freely, and fetch £3 5s to £3 10s. Flour. —The millers have again advanced flour, and £12 to £13 is asked, according to brand. Grass Seed. —Considerable sales have been made At 4s to 4s 63, during the week, the favourable weather for sowing having no doubt helped to throw a little more life into the market. Dairy Produce is unaltered, and the demand not over brisk.
