GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

The fine weather experienced during the week, following the rains of the previous one, has been very favourable for sowing purposes, and from every quarter we hear that work is being pushed forward in consequence with redoubled energy. Wheat.—Sales of good milling have been made up to 4s 4d. Prices range from 4s to 4s 4d. The demand for seed wheat has been more than fair during the week, and full rates have been got for first-class lots. Oats.—Last week's quotations, may be repeated—feed quality, 2s 5d to 2s 7d ; milling, 2s Bd. Barley continues in good demand at last -week's prices. The lower descriptions remain dull of sale. Potatoes. —The market values for these have not altered, although we can record numerous sales during the week at £3 5s to £3 10s. Flour has seen fair business at £10 to -£11, according to brand. Grass Seed. —The improved feeling noted in our last has been maintained, and considerable sales have been made within the last few days. Merchants, however, •are not anxious buyers, and do not respond to the pri>es asked by growers. Welldressed fanners' lots, free from impurities, are quoted at 4s 6d to 5s ; other kinds, 3s 'to 4s. Dairy Produce.—Butter and cheese un--aitered.
