STOCK AND STATIONS.
At the Addington yards on Wednesday 7096 sheep, 213 head of cattle, and 22 pigs came forward for the week's supply, and aa was expected an over-supply of sheep was the result. Sheep.—Good and prime lots of fat crossbred wethers were keenly sought after, and met with a ready sale at from 12s 9d to 13s 3d. We quote per lb as an average for this quality ; but the majority of the fat ewes met with a dull sale, the but- • chera fighting shy of this description, owing to the fact that a large proportion of them are heavy iv lamb at this season of the year. jCattle.—A good proportion of fat cattle •were offered. Best bullocks realised from £10 to £12 each ; good do, from £8 17s 6d to £9 ss. We quote as an average 27s 6d per 1001b for quality lots ; second do, iron. 23s to 26s per 1001b.
