NOTICE, TO SUBSCRIBERS.
'IMPORTANT. '-
Subscribers to customers of the Akaroa Mail are informed that their Accounts up to July 17 (the third anniversary of the paper) are now being-distributed. Their earnest attention is called to these accounts. Many of them are long overdue, and it is absolutely ,necessany that, these be discharged forthwith. Strange as many seem to think it, it is nevertheless true, that the business of a newspaper cannot be conducted without money. We hope that our numerous patrons will' take the hint, and forward the amounts severally due by them immediately on receiving their accounts As to those on whom " accounts rendered" take no effect, we shall be compelled, in self-defence, to request them to interview the R. M; in the matter, a proceeding which, we need hardly remind them,' will considerably add to the amounts of their respective accounts. WIGGINS & CO. Aug. 7, 1879.
