Sib, —As I understand your reporter lost his notes of the last entertainment, allow me, on behalf of the Akaroa Hope Lodge, 1.0. G.T., to thank those ladies and gentlemen who assisted and helped to make the entertainment one of the most successful that has been given in Akaroa. I am desired to specially mention the name of, Miss Connell for her labors preparatory to the entertainment. The amount realised, after paying all expenses, will be about £8. ' Yours, &c, H.BffiLENS.
