AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Tuesday, July 1. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) civil case. ' Hammond v. Welch.—Claim, £1 6s, for the trespass of pigs. This case had been adjourned from a previous sitting. Defendant not being in attendance when the case was called on, judgment was given for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. The Court then adjourned.
Wednesday, July 2. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.,) DRUNKENNESS. Charles Johnson, for being drunk and disorderly, was fined 10s, with the alternative of 24 hours' imprisonment. The Court then adjourned.
