LOCAL MARKETS.
Messrs Wilkin and Co. report:—Sheepskin?.—Our catalogue to-day consisted of 2909 skins, of which 114 were unsold. There was a very poor attendance of buyers and biddings were languid. Cross-bred, large, to 3s each ; do, medium, to 2s 9d ; dd, stnail and inferior, to Is 2d ; merino, large, to 2s 8d ; do, medium, to 2s ; do, Rinrdl and inferior, to Is 3d ; pelts, Id to idTallow.—A fair quantity to hand. There was only a small attendance of buyers, and biddings were quiet as follows :—Best clean, well saved, to lj-d per lb ; second quality, to ltjd per lb ; inferior aud heated, to lb"; hides, unsold.
