There is a decided improvemt in wheat, the prices ruling for good milling sorts being from 3s 8d to 3s 10d. The tone of the market is firm, and large shipments are being made. Oats have slightly improved. Flour is selling at £10 to £10 10s f.0.b.; othnr quotations are very little altered. Dunedin, June 6. Wheat, 3s 6d to 3s 9d; fowls-feed, 2a Gd to 3s ; new oats, 2s Id to 2s 3d ; barley, 5s to 5s 6d ; feed, 3s to 3s 6d; potatoes, £4 5s to £4 10s per ton ; straw, £2 os ; bran, £4 5s ; iiour, large sacks, £9 to £9 10s ; oatmeal, £15 ; pearl barley, £26 ; onions, 14s per cwt; cheese, 7d to 8d per lb ; bacon, 8d to Dd per lb. Fat cattle- Prime beef, 30s per lOOlbs ; medium, 25s to 27s Gd ; fat sheep, 2d to per lb ; fat calves, 9s to 17s each.
