CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.

The following is the report of tlie Corn Exchange for the week ending Friday evening, June 6 : — The grain and produce market during the week has shown no sign of improvement except in wheat. The confirmation of the low yield of wheat in Victoria has imparted a firmer tone here. Wheat.—The market is bare of wheat. If orders of any magnitude have to he executed higher rates will rule. Ordinary sized parcels are held for better values. Fair milling samples command 3s Gel , medium quality, 3s 4d, to 3s 5d ; chick wheat, 2s 10d to 3s Oats, —The local demand during the week has been good. Prime milling samples command "2h 8d to 2s 9d ; good feed samples, 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; inferior qualities, 2s 4d to 2s sd. Barley.—For prime malting samples, buyers can he found at 5s 9d to 5s 10d ; inferior to medium ranging from 3s to 4s 6d. Potatoes. —Buyers and sellers opinions with regard to values are still at variance consequently not much business has been transacted. Small parcels have been quitted during the week at £3 10s, at country stations, bags extra.

Grass Seed.—The demand for this still remains in the same ddrmant state. Holders will not part at the prices offered. This state of things will last till spring, when a good demand may be looked for. Prices nominal. Cheese and Butter.—Gd to Gid for the former, 10d to lid for the latter.
