LOCAL MARKETS.
Messrs Wilkin and Co. report:—Sheepskins.—At our sales to day, 3293 skins -were catalogued and Bold. There was a full attendance of the trade, and biddings were fairly spirited, as follows :—Cross-breds, largo, to 3s 8d each ; do medium, to 2s 9d"eaeh ; do small and inferior, Is 3d each ; merino large 3s 10d each ; do medium, 2s 9d each"; do small and inferior, Is 2d each ; lambskins, 2s to 2s 10d each ; pelts, to Is 3d each. Tallow.— Thore was the usual attendance of buyers with the following result:— Best clean well saved, to ljd per lb ; second quality to lfd per lb ; inferior and heated to o|d per lb. Hides and calfskins unsold.
