The feeling . in. some lines is perhaps a shade firmer, although the business that has been dons has not exceeded to any great extent that of the previous week. Wheat keeps steady, the value being if anything, slightly improved. Choice parcels of wheat command 3s sdto3ss£d,. and a few sales have been noted at 3s 6d. Good average milling is worth 3s 3d to 3s Ud. Oats remain exceedingly dull". Tlie quantity offering, is in excess of the requirements, and sales are very hard to make. Quotations are 2s 6d to 2s 7d for feed, mil ling 2s Bd.. Barley. —Last week's rates are still current, though the demand is far less active. Potatoes. —What we said in our last issue is still applicable to the business of the past week —holders are indisposed to meet buyers, and still hold out for extreme rates. Sales are reported at 60s to 67s 6d. Flour.—Flour is still quoted at £8 to £9. Grass Seed.*—There is nothing new to notice in grass seed. The demand is nil, and prices are purely nominal. Dairy Produce. —Butter is quoted at lOd to lid ; cheese, 6d to 6|d. Hams and Bacon remain unaltered.
