Sales during the week have been effected as follows :—Best new wheat, 4s; inferior, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; new oats, 2s to 2s 2d ; fair feeding samples, Is lOd ; barley, fit for malting, 5s 6d ; potatoes, 745. At the mills flour is worth £10, and for a parcel a shade less would be accepted ; bran, £5 ; and pollard £5 10s, bags included. Dunedin, May 16. Wheat, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per bushel, fowls' feed, 2s 6d to 3s ; oats, new, 2s 2d to 2s 4d ; barley, 5s 6d to 6s ; feed, 3s to 3s 6d ;• potatoes, £4 5s to £4 10s per ton ; hay, new £4 ; old, £6; straw, £2 5s ; chaff, £4 to £4 10s; bran, £3 5s ; flour, sacks, £9 to £9 10s per ton; oatmeal, £15 ; pearl barley, £26; onions, 10s per cwt; cheese, 7d to 8d per lb ; bacon. 9£d ; fat cattle, prime, worth 27s 6d per lOOlbs ; medium, 23s 6d to 25s ; fat sheep, 2d per lb; fat lambs, at last quotations. No transactions in store sheep or cattle.
